Short Biography:

Andriy Tsintsiruk was born on June 15, 1982 in Brody, Ukraine. Upon the completion of his studies at Brody Gymnasium, the Ukrainian pre-college program in Arts and Humanities, he came to the USA as an international student to study at St. Basil College Seminary(Stamford, CT), having been awarded a full merit-based scholarship.

In 2004 he graduated from St. Basil College with B.A. degree in Philosophy and in 2006 with M.A. degree in Political Philosophy from Boston College.

Currently he is a graduate student at Department of Political Science at Boston College.

Andriy works part-time at BC Research Services where he analyzes U.S. Census data in the area of revenue collection and economic development and consults faculty and students on the use of research software such as ArcGIS, SPPS and Stata.

In June 2005 Andriy Tsintsiruk received the Dorot Research Fellowship from United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. he spent three months at the center conducting archival research and Ukrainian-Russian-English translations of KGB protocols which were recently released from Moscow.

During his graduate studies in Philosophy Department Andriy worked as an Editorial Assistant for Philosophy & Social Criticism: An International, Interdisciplinary Journal, Boston College, published by SAGE Publications. His advisor at the department was Prof. David Rasmussen.
